Explore the nature
Make a nice bonfire after a day of enjoying the outdoors and seeing the surrounding scenery And we highlight some areas in California where camping has been going on for many years so I want to bring to your mind what to do when you get there
This post may be more helpful to you as you are doing your own research in the field of filing civil in California.
Borrego State Park
Our first area as Borrego State Park is one of the more recent areas, I love camping and exploring, I have been here several times in various campgrounds around the park ranging from regular car camping to a little desperate camping .
We go off-roading because Borrego is definitely one of those areas that even when the California mountains are full of snow you can go out and enjoy because the best time to visit is during the fall and spring,
There are plenty of cool areas to hike and interesting things to do in Anza Borrego including visiting the many sculptures in Gelato Meadows and hiking the many slot canyons that the park has,

If you are interested in off-roading then this place is one of my favorite places for off-roading. Borrego has as many off-roading trails, ranging from beginner friendly to difficult, trails for those looking for a challenge,
the three different campgrounds I personally stay at are Borrego Palm Canyon Campground, Aqua Caliente Fish Creek Primitive Campground will continue as Campground and Borrego.
Being one of my favorite desert areas to camp in California One of the areas that surprises me every time I go camping is Death Valley National Park,
Death Valley National Park
I never realized how beautiful this park really is until we were invited to go camping here for the first time a few years ago, and there are so many amazing areas to visit and it feels like you’re Are on a different planet, are you planning on taking an established campground, So be prepared to get it ahead of time.
It can get really crowded in the spring and winter months, which is when it is the best time to visit this park, if you have a 4×4, there are some good paths to explore and get away from the sometimes crowded view point.
As it happens, some of these trails allow you to explore something different. Also go camping, but be sure to check what trails you can and can’t go on, I’ve personally stayed at Furnace Creek Campground twice and done some primitive camping along some of their off-roading trails,
we now Having camped here three times so far and still haven’t seen all that Death Valley has to offer, you can rest assured that we will keep coming back here to camp and explore more of this beautiful park.
National Park Forest

The national park and surrounding national forest is one of the more popular areas for many campers, backpackers and overlanders,Sakura National Forest has lots of diverse landscapes to see and explore, from numerous rivers and streams to Tulsa Cordwood trees. You will encounter in this area
The Sukhoi National Forests are home to some of the most diverse ecosystems ever seen in California, the most coveted camping areas for exploration, and the giant sequoia trees at Oceanside National Park, the park’s largest concentration of giant sequoia trees.
There is more and it is amazing to be able to camp close to these giants, it can be hard to get a camping site but keep checking, you can find some great camping sites and campgrounds inside the national park,
but in the national park No alternative, you can check out the surrounding national forest where you camp in the Sequoia National Park area There are more campgrounds to choose from.
Death Valley National Park
I highly recommend you visit nearby Kings Canyon National Park as it is one of the most beautiful areas for swimming and fun out of the two campgrounds I have personally stayed at.
The national park has Lodgepole Campground which is near the General Sherman tree and Sunset Campground Sequoia National Park and National Forest will always be one of my favorite areas for camping and exploring
When people think of Big Bear many think of snowboarding, skiing or fishing on the lake, we have come here for many years and have camped at several campgrounds here several times in several different seasons This is one of the best areas the U.S. has to offer webcams.
There’s a house nearby, so we love going there and camping for a night or two among the pine trees, for those looking for a little more amenities when camping, the town of Big Bear is not that far away And you can still go to a restaurant once before heading back to your campsite,
although it also has a few private disappointment campsites along a mainly off-roading trail in the back part of the national forest, this area is one of the few in those areas.
is one where there is a lot of snow in winter and can be a lot of fun for those who want to do winter camping and winter over landing, we have come to really enjoy this area, developed for weekends That being said,
explore promotions and off-roading before finding a dispersed campsite to settle down for the night. If you’re looking for a quick camping area in SoCal I highly recommend the Big Bear Lake area
coastal redwood area
And let’s get back to our list, the Coastal Redwoods region is one of the more recent areas I have returned to due to how far it is from my home, even though I have passed through this area several years ago.
, I still remember how tall and majestic these redwoods were, we were lucky enough to get a campsite along the Veterans Highway for our 10 year anniversary.
Here are the Best camping site in California America
This is one of my favorite areas to camp, I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it is here compared to many expedition areas, there are plenty of trails in this area that are relatively easy and most are not crowded , What I like about this area is how close it is to the coast,
eventually we are also going to explore several beaches around our campground, but by far the most iconic area is the Avenue of Giants, It’s hard not to stop and take in its beauty.
Take pictures of the surrounding landscape and these majestic trees The campground we stayed at was Burlington Campground, located on the Avenue of the Giants, I highly recommend this campground if you are ever on the North Coast of California. Look at the area.
Yosemite National Park is
One of my favorite areas to camp is Yosemite National Park, I still remember the first time I went camping here in my teens and from the first view of the tunnel over the valley I was amazed to see how This park is so beautiful.
There is something magical about camping in Yosemite National Park, of all places, to go down and see Yosemite Falls, it is by far the hardest camp to make, especially during the summer months, requiring many of us to get up early to go.
On occasions one has to coordinate with multiple friends. Online and book this campsite, there are a few campgrounds inside the canyon to choose from, but these are by far the hardest to get to,
there is a campground right outside the entrance, as well if all the campgrounds inside the canyon first webcam here Have backpacked and come really love the many beautiful hiking trails there are,
What we like about this place is that there are many facilities near the campground, this is one of those areas where if you have someone who doesn’t like ruggedness and camping, then they can eat- Can get drink.
And there is a shower and nearby facilities within the beautiful area of the canyon, campgrounds many times stay inside Yosemite or Upper Pine Campground and Wawona Campground,
we also have the convenience of staying at Tuolumne Meadow Backpacker Campground from where we drove all the way to Tuolumne Backpacking through the meadow. Yosemite National Park down the valley will always have a special place in my heart because it was the first area in my life where I camped.
eastern sierra
One of my favorite places to camp these days is the Eastern Sierra, I’ve only been camping here for the past five years, but have really fallen in love with the many beautiful landscapes in the region.
This year is mind boggling, you can go from a few thousand feet to the highest peak in the United States and jurisdictions alone, there is so much diversity of wildlife and landscape that we have yet to fully explore this place.
Haven’t seen. From the many hot springs to burning lakes that cover this area of the Sierras, there is something for everyone to enjoy from primitive campgrounds to webcams, off-roading and flying primitive campsites to backpacking, There are many backcountry trails in the Eastern Sierras.
It has become one of my favorite places to come camp and find out what I love about it, there are also several small towns along 395 where you can drop out to explore the beautiful landscape of the area. To be able to get the amenities before leaving, there is no greater feeling for me than that.
Beyond seeing the majestic Sierra Nevada, the Eastern Sierra has definitely become one of my favorite places to visit and camp Hope you enjoyed this list of areas where I have personally camped, I know there are a lot of other places in California that have some amazing campgrounds and campsites and are really beautiful,
but for now this is my list of areas I have enjoyed camping in, in case you feel any Let me know in the comments section below if there is an area I should investigate next time and if you have any questions regarding any of the areas on this list, feel free to let me know. Comments in
